In this section, we have outlined of a variety of scenic adventure options for popular routes including a taxi-boat-horseback journey between Arenal and Monteverde, a stop along the Tarcoles River en route to Jaco and Manuel Antonio, a trip to the Poas Volcan between San Jose and Arenal, and rafting on the Sarapiqui River between Arenal and San Jose.
