Tamarindo Fishing Tours

Take a Tamarindo Sportfishing tour for big game fishing with the area’s most experienced captains on top quality sea crafts. Tamarindo, situated in the Guanacaste region, is Costa Rica’s closest point to the continental shelf, so your trip is spent catching fish instead of searching for them.

Traveler Comments

The crew was waiting for us at the pickup point. The boat was clean and the crew was friendly. They worked hard to make sure we caught some fish. We caught a beautiful rooster fish which we released and a big Red Snapper. The crew filleted the fish for us which we dropped off at Chiringuito restaurant. They prepared it for Our dinner. Great time!

The fishing trip was very good and we managed to catch a couple of large dorado. The fishing guide was excellent and friendly. It was a long day in the hot sun, though, so a bit more shade on the boat would have helped. Otherwise, the trip was thoroughly enjoyable. Personally, watching the dolphins and other fish jump around us was the highlight of the day.
