After two cables you will be enjoying one of the most spectacular cables (285 meters length, 80 meters altitude). This cable will take you directly to the heart of the forest where we you will begin a short hike with a naturalist guides.

Throughout this tour you will become acquainted with the flora and the fauna of the primary forest and learn how indigenous communities utilize these plants. After the hike you will arrive at another platform to continue your canopy adventure. This tour includes 9 aerial platforms and 14 on land for a total of 2560 meters of cable. Once you climb the 8th platform, you will not touch the ground again until the final run which will give you a spectacular bird’s eye view of the jungle.

On each platform the naturalist guide will continue to explain the curiosities which are found in this extraordinary environment. On the platform at the end of the aerial run, you will have the choice of making a descent by rappelling, by a tarzan swing, or by a zip line cable to the ground. For all those who always wanted to see the world from Superman's perspective once, there is the possibility to exit the Canopy Tour in this legendary position for an extra charge of $10.

After the last cable you will return to the entrance of the farm where the group will have a snack before going back to Puerto Viejo.

Traveler Comments

These guys running the zipline were so professional that all of us did it because we knew we could trust them. We ziplined in a driving rain and every one of us loved it!!

- JAN T, APR 2019

It was excellent !! I felt a little scared but the guys reassured me it’d be fine. THey were pros and made it look so easy! Along with feeling safe which was number one they made it fun by joking and pointing out animals we couldn’t see. These guys are great at what they do . I loved this experience and will recommend it to friends and family !

- SULMA , APR 2018

Lots of fun, but please warn people that this is physically hard! Some older folks on our tour had a lot of trouble with the long hike between cables.
