Bike, Raft and Beach to the Pacific- 5 Day Trip

Day 1- Bike to Santa Clara

The exciting trip will begin with a bike ride from the top of the continental divide, through Cloud Forests and farms, all the way to the Santa Clara lowlands, in the northern part of Cost Rica. In the afternoon, the group will take transport over to the hotel for the first night, located on a cattle farm.

Day 2- White Water rafting / Toro River

The second day is a thrilling full-day white water rafting trip on the Toro River. This river bursts with exotic wildlife, great rapids and beautiful tropical scenery. Once on shore, the group will shuttle to the picturesque town of La Fortuna, known for the active Arenal Volcano. The day will end with a typical dinner and views of the spectacular lava flow at night.

Day 3- Bike the base of the Arenal Volcano and shore of Lake Arenal

The journey today will take you through secondary forests, across streams, along the deserted southern shore of Lake Arenal and to the base of the Arenal Volcano. In the afternoon you&ll make your way over to the popular beach town of Tamarindo.

Day 4- Tamarindo Beach

Bike ride along the beautiful coast of Tamarindo and take in the sights of the Pacific waters and white sand Beaches. This beach is great for Surfing or just laying in the warm tropical sun.

Day 5-Return

After a delicious breakfast, the group will make its return trip to San Jose, via private transport.

The trip includes roundtrip transportation to and from San Jose, 4 nights lodging, 4 breakfasts, lunches and dinners, a bilingual mountain Biking guide, white water rafting equipment and water and hydrating drinks for bike rides.
