The surrounding area boasts a variety of excursions including Canopy Tours, which will fly you through the forest treetops, Horseback riding and rainbow trout fishing. There are also excursions to the Cerro De la Muerte forest and to the Tapanti National Park, which is a cloud forest reserve teeming with birds.
The Dantica Lodge sits on nine acres of private cloud forest and trails that will take you through primary forest, alongside a crystal clear mountain stream that is perfect for bird and animal spotting. Enjoy a fresh breakfast and lunch in the gallery restaurant&s outdoor terrace. The restaurant serves typical food and fresh caught trout. The terrace is also a great place to laze in the comfortable beach chairs pointed towards the bird and hummingbird feeders. For complete and divine relaxation, take advantage of the in-room massage service by the professional therapist.
Every bungalow contains one or two bedrooms with a private bathroom, luxurious goose-feather or thermo blankets, large picturesque windows with forest views, a terrace and a Jacuzzi. In addition, the four-person bungalows have a living room with a fully equipped kitchen and satellite TV. The covered terrace on the south side allows for the warm sun to enter and for breathtaking views of the lush forest.
