Hotel Mawamba
Nestled in the lush rainforest, this is the ideal hideaway for nature lovers with its 15-acre beach front property. Its beautiful gardens and rustic accommodations blend with the exuberant jungle vegetation, exotic birds and wildlife creating the perfect balance of nature. The Family style restaurant caters International and delicious local cuisine and a pool - whirlpool area surrounded by beautiful gardens where you can enjoy exotic tropical cocktails. There are relaxing ranchos/ palapas perfect for lazing in hammocks and reading and private nature trails featuring an open sky butterfly farm. Have fun in our entertainment / game room area and souvenir shop. Every evening, we also present lectures on the Tortuguero area in our conference room.
All the spacious and comfortable rooms are built in fine woods and are equipped with either 1 double and one single bed or three single beds. All feature a private bathroom with hot water and ceiling fans and offer tranquil garden views.
