Casa Pacifico

Tambor is a laidback mixture of locals and foreign retirees. It’s surrounded by forested hills and borders a pleasant beach where the sunbathing and swimming are spectacular. The ocean is home an array of marine creatures, and thus snorkeling and scuba diving are quite popular. For additional nature viewing, visitors can make day trips to the nearby Cabo Blanco Nature Reserve or the Guayabo and Negritos Islands. The Tambor Airport is a 10-minute drive and the town of Montezuma is a 25-minute drive.  

Casa Pacifico is a 10,200 sq. ft., 6 bedroom, and 6.5 bath rental house set along the shores of the Pacific Ocean. From its elegant design to its luxurious amenities, this house is geared towards relaxation and comfort. The indoor and outdoor areas provide guests with ample places to lounge, sunbathe, and simply enjoy the slow pace of Costa Rica. There is a large pool surrounded by lounge chairs and a sun deck. An artificial waterfall descends into the pool, and nearby is a massive hot tub where guests can unwind at night. Also outdoors is a BBQ and bar area that’s perfect for hosting parties or dinners.  

The indoor area spreads across two floors. The bottom floor opens onto the pool/deck area and hosts four of the rooms, which come equipped with queen or king size beds, walk-in closets, and cable TVs. Most have private hot water bathrooms as well. Upstairs is the kitchen, dining and living room, as well as the two master suites. Both suites have a king size bed and private deck; one even has its own Jacuzzi. The kitchen is modern and equipped with cookware and deluxe table settings. Nearby is a dining room table that seats twelve people and a living room with a wraparound sofa, large screen TV and DVD player.  

There is a permanent staff of three that help shop for groceries, prepare meals, and do laundry and maintenance. The rental offers various meal plans that include breakfast, lunch and dinner.
