"Owner was incredible. As above we had sooooo much trouble with Alamo that he let us use his office, telephone and really calmed us down. we liked it so much we booked our return to stay there. Reception girl was great and helpful also with the new rental company. Breakfast was spectacular and the house is in great area...just walk out and shop, walk or sit at square. Would go back again...just wish I could remember owners name."

"This was the cheapest hotel we stayed at & just loved it. Very close to shops and restaurants and the breakfast was awesome with homemade pineapple marmalade - worth staying just for the breakfast !!!! Thelma the receptionist out did herself with helping us book taxi's etc, she such a gem, I just hope the owners know how wonderful she is."

Hotel Los Volcanes Bed and Breakfast

Once settled into your cozy room, take some time to explore the beautiful Central Valley. San Jose is a great place to sightsee at museums, the national theatre, colorful open markets, and for shopping downtown. Costa Rican coffee is known to be the best in the world, so enjoy a tour at one of the coffee plantations nearby. Also great fun is the white water rafting trips, the La Paz Waterfall Garden, and the canopy tours.

Los Volcanes is owned and run by a local family and offers great comfort and security to their much appreciated guests. For your complete convenience, shuttle service to the airport is offered 24 hours a day. The B&B has a cozy sitting area great for reading, surfing the internet or watching TV. In the morning, guests can take advantage of a full and delicious breakfast before starting a day of fun and adventure.

The comfortable and beautiful colonial style rooms come with private or shared bathrooms, all with hot water. They also include a single and double bed, phone, and cable TV.

Please notice that Hotel Los Volcanes offers transportation ONLY from the Hotel to the Airport, if you are arriving to Costa Rica, and have a reservation at Los Volcanes you can take a taxi at the airport (will be around $5.00) but the Hotel will not pay for it.
