Sueno Azul Hotel and Spa
Go exploring in the hotel's private reserve, where you can horseback ride and visit cascading waterfalls and botanical gardens. Cattle tours and horseback riding is offered at the hotel, as well as botanical and butterfly gardens, natural pools, a leaf cutter ant observatory and bird watching.
The hotel is known for its rustic elegance and continues to give homage to the Indigenous civilization through its tribal architectural design and its careful preservation of the farm and land. The owners aim to create a sanctuary to be shared with others that long for a space to rest and renew.
Sueno Azul has 55 rustic, ranch style rooms with a ceiling fan, hot water, hair dryer and a private terrace to view the wonders of nature. The eleven deluxe rooms have extra features such as AC and a mini-bar and the two Jr. suites come with a private Jacuzzi on the terrace as well as a mini-bar. Built in the antique stable, the El Corral restaurant serves healthy, locally grown cuisine as well as Costa Rican and international specialties. For those that are vegetarian or have special dietary needs, the chefs are happy to accommodate.
