La Quinta Country Inn property is comprised of nine acres, including frog and butterfly gardens and meandering trails built with wheel chair accessibility. There is an on-site museum and gallery with an extensive exhibit of fascinating rainforest insects and educational corners providing information and topics on tropical biology. Horseback riding, mountain biking and boat trips are also available.

The restaurant serves typical Costa Rican fare, including fresh fruits and vegetables from the garden served with every meal. Mini courses on cooking and paper making are available. If you are looking for something to read, check out the library. For relaxation, take a mid-afternoon nap in one of the hammocks on your private balcony or next to the swimming pool.

The Inn has twenty four accommodations set in private cabins. Each includes either two or three beds, a ceiling fan and a private bath with hot water. These cabins are amidst a tropical garden of flowering trees, palms and Heliconia. An outside porch with chairs is connected to each room, providing the perfect setting to enjoy the flowers and vast variety of birds that abound.
