Recycling Program
The recycling program at Centro Neotrópico Sarapiquis includes paper, aluminum, glass, and plastic. Organic waste is used to produce compost. Collection bins are located throughout the hotel’s property and kitchen. The staff also selects recyclable materials from the guest room trash.

Community Programs / Charity
Centro Neotrópico Sarapiquis makes annual financial donations to the Red Cross and local schools. It also contributes to the Association of Airlines. The hotel has a cinema which is offered free of charge to organizations, schools, and businesses of the community. Every three months the hotel hosts indigenous groups that sell their crafts. They are given free room and meals for 2 days.
