One-Day Pacuare Class III-IV

This one day excursion begins with an early morning pick-up from your San Jose hotel. You will then be taken for a lovely, typical breakfast before continuing on to Tres Equis, where you will begin your river adventure.

Before embarking, your knowledgeable bilingual guide will explain all safety instructions. The group will then proceed down this picturesque river and have lunch on a riverbank, where you can take in the warm tropical sun and relax before heading out for the last stretch of the trip. The total river time is around five hours. Your rafting excursion will finish with transportation back to your hotel.

Tour includes:
breakfast, lunch, round trip transportation, all safety and boat equipment

What to bring: sneakers or sandals with a back strap, a cotton T shirt, a light rain jacket (depending on weather), strap for glasses

Connoisseur Option

On this trip you are the special guest of Costa Rica Expeditions' River Guides, who will share the history of the Pacuare and the culture of the people in this mountainous Turrialba region. Your guides, turned white-gloved waiters, will also treat you to a gourmet riverbank lunch in the outdoor "river restaurant.' The Connoisseur Rafting one-day tour runs year-round. (Minimum age 12 years)
