Casa del Mar is located in the town of Samara, one of the most accessible beaches on the northern Pacific coast and four hours from San Jose. The main road takes you through the cozy town center, passing cafes, bars, and restaurants on its way to the beach.
Here you can find some of the best water sports activities in the entire country, as well as horseback riding, deep sea fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving, paragliding, waterfall visits and a canopy tour. A variety of exotic plants and animals can be found along the 5 km beach strip along with a stunning coral reef that lies just offshore. Paddle out in a kayak or take a boat out to Chora Island where you can be alone on your own pink sand beach.
