This adventure combo at Rincon de La Vieja is an action packed full day expedition that features a guided visit to Hacienda Guachipelin Lodge, next to Rincon De La Vieja National Park. There are 4 main activities during this day of adventure canopy (zip line) tour and rapelling through the Rio Blanco Canyon and horseback riding expedition to nearby waterfalls, relax at a rustic spa featuring volcano heated thermal waters, steam and mud bath.

The Canyon Canopy Tour is the most dynamic Canopy tour in Costa Rica because it combines more than just the zip lines. The Canyon Canopy Tour includes rappelling, rock climbing, tarzan swing and hanging bridges, all set in the majestic canyon made by the erosion of the Blanco River during millions of years.
Now for the relaxation at volcanic mud pool and thermal hot springs. This unique attraction is surrounded by forest and adjacent to the Colorado River. The boiling mud pools are formed when heat and hot gases rise from deep below the earth and surfaces through cracks in the geological formations. The water and the volcanic mud are believed to have healing properties, at the very least it makes you feel good smearing around from head to toe!
This tour is operated only: Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
IMPORTANT: A minimum of two people is required for booking.
What to Bring
Camera, binoculars, long pants, swimsuit, closed toe shoes that can get wet or river sandals. We recommend bringing a change of cloths because you will get wet on this tour. Changing rooms are available after the tour.

Wow! That was really fun... Everyone had a great time, even the first time climbers and rapelers.
This was a great tour. It was paced well considering the fact that there were so many activities. We never felt rushed, and despite the fact that it was a large group, we didn't feel like we were waiting for a long period of time before we ziplined to the next canopy. The best part of the trip was the hot springs. We lathered ourselves in warm volcano mud, which was a nice surprise since we thought that the mud was going to be cool, washed ourselves in the cool rushing river once it had dried and then warmed up again in the geothermal springs. It was wonderful. We felt very relaxed after a long day of activities and did not feel exhausted afterwards.
