Energy Conservation
Low-watt fluorescent light bulbs have been installed in corridors, property lighting, bathrooms, and central guest room lights (only reading lamps in the guest rooms have not been changed)

Water Conservation
Encourages guests to re-use linens and towels
Low-flow sinks and showerheads (max flow 2.75 gpm)

Recycling Program
Hotel Mangaby’s recycling program includes paper, aluminum, glass, and plastic. Collection bins are located at the guest room entries, near the restaurant, and around the swimming pool. The materials are brought to the collection centers of the Hermosa Beach association.

Waste / Toxicity Reduction
Only durable and reusable drinking cups are provided
Shampoos, conditioners, and lotions are placed in re-usable containers and refilled
100% biodegradable soap (laundry detergent, dish soap, and hand/body soap)

Community Programs / Charity
Hotel Mangaby makes regular donations to Caritas (a catholic association of charity) and to the local church for charitable activities.
