Cristal Azul is located on the southern tip of the Nicoya Peninsula. The coastline is spotted with deserted beaches, some almost inaccessible and considered by many to be the most beautiful in the country. One hundred kilometers of sandy beachfront, swaying palms, clear blue waters and fantastic surf lure the adventurous to traverse rivers and dusty dirt roads to pass the day in paradise.

The Cristal Azul Villas are nestled on a hillside overlooking the small town of Playa San Miguel. Here you can enjoy stunning views of pristine, undeveloped tropical coastlines and starlit nights. Beautifully landscaped gardens surround you attracting a variety of butterflies, birds and howler monkeys. Lounge by the pool under an umbrella or enjoy a good book while swinging from a hammock in the rancho listening to the surf below.
The accommodations here are cozy, each with a spectacular view of the ocean. Simply decorated with rustic furniture made by local craftsmen, the cabins have air conditioning, ceiling fans, hot water and a private outdoor shower. *Note: *a 4WD car is required to reach Cristal Azul, there is no public transportation or cab service in the area. Minimum age to stay at Cristal azul is 8 years old.
