Guanacaste Scuba Diving Day Trips

Set out into the ocean for a day spent adventuring beneath the water. The 32 ft. dive boats are comfortably equipped with tank racks, swim platforms, dive ladders, fresh water showers, toilets, and large shaded areas. Two bilingual PADI Dive masters are always on hand to assist and guide you during your scuba experience. Once underwater, search for massive schools of fish, manta rays, sea turtles, bull sharks, whale sharks, dolphins and more.

Two tank boat dive tours have the opportunity to dive twice during one day, often in different locations. Those that would like a unique dive experience can sign up for a night dive, a one tank dive that heads out at dusk to explore the underwater world. Lastly, there are dive trips to the Bats or Catalinas Islands. Located between 14-21 miles from Ocotal, these groups of islands are known to be some of the best dive sites along Costa Rica's Pacific coast. During a trip to the islands, you'll have the opportunity of spotting giant manta rays, eagle rays, large bull sharks, schools of cownose rays, and much more. However, as these dives tend to be a bit more challenging, proof of diving experience is required.

The two tank boat dives depart at 8:30 AM, and night dives depart at 5:30 PM.

What to bring: swimming suit, towel, sunscreen, and camera.
Tour includes: transportation from local hotels, guides, equipment, bottled water, soft drinks, cookies, and fruit.
