Nosara Bed & Breakfast Retreat

Be sure to get out and explore the beauty that abounds in Nosara. There are excellent surf schools, opportunities to swim, snorkel and kayak. The Ostional Refuge is a short drive away where sea turtles come each year to nest. For those who just want to take it easy, Nosara is home to one of the most beautiful stretches of beaches in the country.

The Nosara Bed and Breakfast is located near one of Costa Rica's best protected wildlife reserves and situated on two acres of lush tropical gardens and jungle. Escape to this charming B&B to completely unwind while relaxing in a hammock, watching the monkeys and listening to the birds. The main house provides a cheerful yellow kitchen and indoor dining area with a long hardwood table and chairs. The terrace outside is shaded by flowers and palms and hosts the outdoor dining on rustic oval wooden tables. Two colorful hammocks hang at the edge of the garden.

The B&B offers a variety of comfortable accommodations. The main house, named "Casa de Los Monos", has two rooms on the second floor. Adorned with comfortable rattan furniture, the Tree House, which has two bedrooms with private bathrooms, a kitchen, and a shared balcony, looks out on lush flowers and vines.

All rates include a Continental Breakfast that includes fresh fruits, whole grain toast with an assortment of local fruit jams, coffee or tea, milk and a fresh fruit smoothie.

Accommodations
All rooms have private bathroom with hot water, ceiling or standing fan and WiFi. The rooms don't have a TV or air conditioning. 
 
Butterfly Room: on the first floor of the main house, two single beds, private terrace. It remains to be one of the coolest rooms on the property as it is situated on the side of the Main House and receives consistent shade from the tall local trees.
Humming Bird Room: on the second floor of the Main House, one King size bed and a single bed, private balcony overlooking the jungle, floor to ceiling windows.
Mango Room: next to the outdoor shared kitchen, one double bed and a single bed, floor to ceiling windows, large shared balcony.
Papaya Room: next to the Mango Room, one double bed and a single bed,  floor to ceiling windows, large shared balcony, shared outdoor kitchen.
Lemon Room: private entrance, floor to ceiling windows, front and back terrace, one double bed and a single bed. The private back terrace makes it especially unique for guests to lay out on the couch or lounge in the hammock as they look right onto the beautiful gardens.
Star Fruit Room: ideal for a couple or a single person. This room is the closest to the beach path being a short 4 minute walk from the room. It boasts one double bed, private balcony and outdoor kitchen.
The Casita: it boasts a large private indoor kitchen, large sitting area and separate bedroom with two single beds that can be converted into one Queen size bed, phone, private entrance and garden.
The Rancho: located at the top of the property and it is one of the largest rooms. Private indoor kitchen, a separate room with a double bed, a single bed, private terrace.
