There is a sign to hang all towels that the guests do not wish to wash; linens are washed every 3 nights unless otherwise requested

Land Conservation

Hotel Ylang Ylang protects 3 acres of natural land in which no activities take place. This land comprises 70% or the hotel property.

Recycling Program
Glass, plastic, aluminum, and organic materials are collected in the kitchen, and housekeeping services separate these materials in the guest rooms

Waste/ Toxicity Reduction
Shampoos, conditioners, and lotions are placed in re-usable containers and refilled
Lemon oil and EM product are used as cleaning agents

Community Programs/Charity
Hotel Ylang Ylang makes monthly contributions to the Karen Mogenson Reserve, which protects land in the Nicoya Penninsula. The hotel also makes an effort to clean garbage that washes to the Montezuma beaches.
