For a unique view of the forest, walk along the suspension bridges or coast through the canopy of the trees on an exciting zip line adventure. There are also insect museums, ATV tours, and butterfly and hummingbird gardens.
Hotel Montana is situated within minutes from most local attractions. Adjacent to the hotel is a 15 acre private forest, offering excellent views and trails, including a small pond. Surrounded by breathtaking views, the private Jacuzzi and sauna allow guests to relax after an exiting day in the cloud forest. There is also a bar and a charming restaurant serving home cooked Costa Rican Cuisine with rich flavors.
The hotel rooms are comfortable and well-designed, providing every comfort needed after those long hikes in the Monteverde mountains. Incredible views from our patio out to the Pacific Ocean with amazing sunset scenes. We could see wild horses on the field below. Very friendly staff (thank you Gustavo). The hotel is dated in its decor - everything worked (beds were squeaky). Breakfast was good with fruit, eggs, toast & either pancakes or frenchtoast. We had dinner at Pizza Don Luis which has excellent food.
Very nice hotel with a great view of the arenal volcano (when the sky is clear). The staff were also very hospitable!
Excellent service by Maria Jose in the restaurant. She is awesome. She did severals time went extra miles to satisfy our request. Sophia did excellent at the reception in booking the transportation for us with very short notice. The rooms were large and clean. Excellent view and location. The hotel needs a better website so they can get more business. I would recommend 100% without hesitation, my family and friends. Overall excellent staff. Keep up the good work.
