"Beautiful hotel and surroundings and helpful staff. Resort is expensive but you do get what you pay for. The swimming pool area was sometimes very busy with not many beds compared to the number of people but otherwise everything was perfect. The private rainforest area was also a wonderful added extra - being able to see Sloths and Monkeys up close was phenomenal."

"This place has something for anyone. We actually saw more wildlife at our hotel than we did on our national park tour. The monkeys were up close and personal. The spa is gorgeous and the grounds are very nice. The staff were amazing. They cooked our yellow fin tuna catch at the restaurant and served all of the accompaniments. Delicious meal! Their coffee and included breakfast buffet were fantastic. Highly recommend this place."

"Manuel Antonio was my family's favorite place --we loved the Parador, but the room was the most expensive and the smallest we stayed in. That said, everyday the maids created animals from the towels and it was fun. Special kudos to Silvia Hernandez--she arranged for the band to sing happy birthday for my daughters birthday--which thrilled her. The New year's eve celebration was the best I have ever seen. It went on and on, and each event was better than the previous. Very well done, and worth every penny. Silvia also arranged for massages--the spa was beautiful and it was a magical experience."

"This is a beautiful resort. We were well taken care of by the staff and really enjoyed the location in Manuel Antonio. Our room was very nice. Not much of a view from the Jungle room, but we spent much of the time out of the room so this was an affordable way to stay at a very nice resort. "
