Manuel Antonio is home to the Manuel Antonio National Park. Here, visitors can walk along well-marked trails that lead through lush tropical forests. The wildlife viewing is notably diverse and the park’s pristine beaches provide an excellent place to relax during the afternoon. Visitors can enjoy surfing and swimming in the ocean, as well as good snorkeling and scuba diving when the water is clear. Other activities include horseback riding, rafting, and sport fishing.

Hotel San Bada is a luxurious resort that’s privileged to be located adjacent to the Manuel Antonio National Park. From the hotel, it’s a 7-minute walk to the Manuel Antonio beach and a 15 minute drive to the town of Quepos. What’s more, the hotel’s property is not limited to Manuel Antonio – San Bada also owns a beautiful ranch that’s located some 1.5 hours from the hotel. Here, guests can explore primary forests on horseback or foot and enjoy visits to four waterfalls, the largest of which is 60 ft (20 m) tall.

The hotel’s main campus is stunning. It has views of both the ocean and rainforest and is equipped with a number of facilities. On the main level is a 400 sq. ft. swimming pool with slides, waterfalls and a wet bar; the hotel’s rooftop hosts another pool that looks out over the Pacific Ocean and has awesome sunset views. San Bada’s restaurant specializes in both international and traditional cuisine and incorporates local produce and seafood into their meals. There is an onsite fitness center (and a personal trainer, if needed) and an internet café where computers, printers and scanners are available. What’s more, the hotel’s spa offers a number of relaxing treatments, including body scrubs and massages.

Accommodations are comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. All have private furnished balconies with views of either the ocean or garden. Air conditioning ensures that the room remains cool, while spacious hot water bathrooms have bathtubs that allow for total relaxation.
