Hotel Plaza Yara
Hotel Plaza Yara is found on the Central Pacific Coast along a road connecting the fishing town of Quepos to Manuel Antonio Park. With its world-class beaches, the Manuel Antonio area is one of the most popular destinations in all of Costa Rica. White, sandy stretches provide stunning contrast to the blue, shimmering water and dense green jungle. Manuel Antonio National Park bursts with wildlife and is one of the world’s great “natural zoos.”
Visitors to the Quepos/Manuel Antonio area will find a wide range of activities available to them. Water activities include surfing, swimming, scuba diving, deep sea fishing excursions, and sailing amid the vibrant Pacific sunset. For those who wish to explore Costa Rica’s exotic flora and fauna, there are great opportunities to hike the National Park trails, stop by butterfly gardens, explore the mangrove forest, and embark on dolphin watching expeditions.
Hotel Plaza Yara is part of a brightly colored building strip, complete with art gallery, real estate offices, and restaurants (La Hacienda fusion cuisine, Pizza de Marco, and a small deli that opens during high season.) In the near vicinity, guests will find a number of additional bars and restaurants, often with live music as nighttime entertainment.
The Plaza Yara is an all suites hotel. Its rooms feature stylish bamboo furniture and decoration. They are both spacious and comfortable, providing ample living space and kitchenettes. The hotel’s backside faces a dense green jungle great for spotting animals from the pool and balcony.
