"Hotel Playa Espadilla was overbooked and they didn't have room for me when I got there. However, they apologized they took me to there sister hotel across the street which was clean and basic but not what I was expecting. They gave me free dinners and upgraded me to a junior suite the next two nights. The people there were very nice and couldn't have done any more for me."

Hotel Espadilla
The area has a slew of activities for your enjoyment such as snorkeling, sunset cruises, scuba diving adventures, and deep sea fishing. There are also exciting waterfall rappelling excursions that are sure to get your adrenaline pumping and canopy tours which send you sailing through the treetops.
At the hotel's private biological reserve, guests can follow trails through the forest offering sightings of white-faced monkeys, spider monkeys, sloths and birds of many colors. Right next to the hotel is the Puerto Escondido restaurant, offering a variety of tropical and international dishes. Visitors can play billiards and enjoy drinks from the bar. Also, guests can relax in the swimming pool area where the bar makes great exotic cocktail. For those who like to stay active, there is a tennis court available for friendly games.

"Great hotel with excellent staff! Only a 2 minute walk from the beach, 3 minutes to the Manuel Antonio National Park. The wildlife is everywhere even amongst the more modernized Manuel Antonio / Quepos area. The food at the hotel restaurant was excellent. The Pizza there was quite good and very affordable. "
