The underwater world of the Pacific Ocean is a thrilling area to explore with scuba diving trips that take you close to the maritime sanctuary of Cabo Blanco. This is a complex nature reserve with an abundance of wildlife and tropical birds. If interested in seeing sea turtles, dolphins, manta rays or whales, journey on a boating trip around the peninsula. Also go horseback riding through lush river valleys and up to mountain viewpoints.

The Moana Lodge is a small hotel, distinctive for its African motif. Dazzling masks and artifacts, imported from Africa, contribute to the fascinating and cozy atmosphere. The centerpiece of the property is the fully equipped communal kitchen, just steps from the free form swimming pool. Sheltered by a huge almond tree, you can stretch out on comfortable lounge chairs and watch eagles and frigate birds circle above you, howler monkeys foraging through the trees and iguanas chasing each other.

This fine lodge has seven guest rooms in three separate buildings. The bright and spacious rooms follow the African theme and are equipped with a queen size bed and one single bed, all with orthopedic mattresses. All of the guest rooms are air conditioned and have bathrooms with hot water and a safe.

There are seven rooms -4 Deluxe and 3 Standard- complete with AC, private bathrooms with hot water, a safe, private balcony, and queen size and single bed. The Deluxe rooms have a mini bar, bathroom toiletries and hair dryer.
