The Horizons Yoga Hotel is located on one of Costa Rica's most secluded gems, the beautiful Nicoya Peninsula, in the town of Santa Teresa. The peninsula is renowned for its stunning marine life, jagged islands and cliffs, sunshine, secluded beaches and one of a kind sunset. Santa Teresa is a small, hip village attracting surfers from around the world, along with those just searching for some tranquility and seclusion from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
You'll discover some of the most splendid surfing beaches in the country. Surf schools and board rentals are available for those wanting to tackle the great waves. Spend a morning kayaking out for views of the coast and surrounding islands or float in the warm waters, observing the incredible marine life on a snorkeling trip. Also venture into one of the surrounding nature reserves where you'll discover a world of tropical birds, iguanas, monkeys and lush flora and fauna.
Horizon is a peaceful hilltop hotel which looks out to the vast horizon of the Pacific Ocean. You can see, hear, smell and feel the presence of the big blue from dusk till dawn. The hotel is located five minutes from the white sands of the beautiful beach of Santa Teresa. An infinity pool, formed in the shape of a triangle, points towards the ocean. The highest point of the hotel is the wooden yoga deck. The vegetarian tea house and restaurant serves fresh baked goods and foods made with organically grown herbs.
There are four private wooden cabins which are located on different levels on the slope above Santa Teresa. The cabins contain a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, orthopedic health mats, hot water showers, a safe and balconies to enjoy the views and breeze of the ocean.
