Panflets in the houses encourages guests to limit water consumption and use of towels/linens
Low-flow toilets in all bathrooms (max of 1.6 gallons/flush)
Low-flow sinks (max flow 2.75 gpm) and showerheads (max flow 2.75 gpm)
Dinning tables are set without use of table clothes

Waste/ Toxicity Reduction

Only durable and reusable drinking cups are provided
Lemon oil, an environmentally friendly cleaning agent, is used in the houses
The cholorine-free pool is maintained with a salt-water treatment system

Community Programs/Charity
Casas de Soliel makes regular contributions to the local Comite Ambiental (Environmental Committee). Additionally, the hotel encourages its staff to help clean the beach and takes the staff out to dinner for their efforts.
