Comments

"Fabulous tour. Our guide Herman was the best! He made us feel like his personal guests. A few of us were not feeling 100 percent and he went out of his way to take care of us. Enjoyed our trip across the border and know that Herman and our driver Michael was very responsible for that success."

"Short, but packed with details. Definitely on the list for a longer visit."

"Guide and driver were fantastic. Wish we could have stopped at more places, but tour was 4:30am to midnight as it was, so that's really not possible. Great value for the money. Breakfast was wonderful, lunch had bugs."

"Our driver and guide were amazing. They made this trip into much more than sightseeing! It was also a great lesson on the history of Nicaragua."

The crossing fee is $7. Once across, you’ll enjoy a delicious breakfast near the city of Rivas. You’ll continue on until you reach Granada, one of the first cities founded by Europeans in America. A colorful, vibrant place, Granada was built with Spanish colonial architecture that remains in place today. In Granada, a horse-drawn carriage will take you to the city’s most notable attractions. You’ll visit the main church – known simply as “Catedral” – and the Plaza de España, where you can take in magnificent views of Lake Nicaragua. Nearby, you’ll have lunch at a nice restaurant with great views.
