This lodge is a carefully sculpted work of art. The attention to detail is remarkable and is present from the moment you enter the grounds. Starting in the lobby you'll find masterfully crafted and shaped wood beams and hand laid hardwood floors accented with river stone and slate. The lodge sits on the grounds of La Paz Waterfall Gardens, where you will find yourself completely enveloped in a tropical paradise of flowers, lush vegetation, butterflies, rivers, and birds.

All guests have unlimited access to the La Paz Waterfall Gardens Nature Park, which includes the butterfly observatory, serpentarium, ranarium, and much more. A full menu breakfast is available every morning as well as delicious buffet meal served up with a view of the river valley and Poas Volcano. Come to the Big Trout Bar to have lunch and some cocktails on the deck with a view.

The accommodations bring the outside world inside. You'll encounter handcrafted canopy beds, love seats, stained glass and artwork. Each room will delight you with a fireplace, Jacuzzi and an unforgettable showering experience as you turn the stone knob to unleash your very own waterfall shower. For a personalized touch, guests have a choice of aromatherapy products. The mesmerizing view of the Poas volcano is just outside each bedroom, on the oversized balcony where rocking chairs, a hammock and a custom Jacuzzi tub awaits you.

Accommodations

All rooms have a fireplace, Jacuzzi, waterfall shower, TV, stereo, DVD player, mini bar, and a fridge. The Monarch Villa is a one bedroom and loft with two full baths, a king size bed, two Jacuzzi's, a dining area and a balcony.

The Deluxe rooms feature a garden and waterfall in the bathroom and a jacuzzi on the balcony. The standard rooms provide a king size bed with a fireplace and Jacuzzi on the deck.

An extra single roll away bed may be added to the rooms for the rate of $20 per child and $40 per adult.  Peace Lodge only allows guests to stay an maximum of 4 nights.
