Pacific Rainforest Aerial Tram Details
Originally created to educate visitors of the importance of tropical forests and habitats, the aerial trams allow guests to view the 222 acres (90 ha) of tropical rain forest from an entirely different perspective. The safe, open-air gondolas have seating, roofs and are great for spotting elusive bird species. Expect to get sneak-peeks of a 40 foot waterfall and views of the Pacific coastline.
The grounds also contain a medicinal plants garden, serpentarium and a stunning gallery of heliconias. Bilingual guides are available for guided walks through the tropical rain forest.
The three tour options include bird watching, the aerial tram, and a combination of the aerial tram and serpentarium. The aerial trams and facilities are located just north of Jaco. Normal business hours are from 6:30 am to 4:00 pm.
What to Bring:
Light-weight rain jacket, binoculars, camera and closed-toed shoes.
