The slow paced Sky Tram gondolas will provide a smooth ride through the rain forest, with endless views along the way, so you can appreciate the natural beauty that surrounds you on your way to the top. Once at the at the observation deck, you will be able to enjoy the most magnificent views of the volcano's south face for as long as you desire.
The first option is to ride back down the same way you came up, on the Sky Tram. On the ride you will be able to notice how the vegetation varies as the altitude changes once again.
You can also opt for the more adventurous route back which is to zip your way to the bottom along the fast moving canopy tour zip lines, the best option for those seeking a rush of adrenaline.
In addition to the Sky Tram and Sky Trek tours visitors have the option to spend a few hours exploring the rainforest via Sky Walk suspension bridges. Sky Walk offers visitors yet another opportunity to get a perspective on the dynamic rainforest at a much slower pace. There are set guided tours available or visitors have the option of doing the Sky Walk without a guide and at any time during normal hours of operation.
Also on the site are both a butterfly and orchid garden nearby the reception so save a little time to check them out as well.
Cancellation Policy: Sky Trek has a strict cancellation policy. If a reservation is canceled less than 48 hours prior to the tour date, NO REFUND.
Transportation Note: If you need transportation from Lost Iguana Resort, Arenal Lodge or The Springs Resort and Spa note that it is available only for the 10:30 AM tour and then again for the 2:00 PM tour.
