Arenal Oasis Night Walk

Location: Arenal
This night walk offers visitors the opportunity see many different nocturnal species that inhabit the small refuge of the Arenal Oasis. The bi-lingual local guide will explain the history of the Arenal Oasis conservation effort as well as the impact it has had on attracting more wildlife to the refuge.

Arenal Oasis Night Walk Details

The night walk begins just before dark, the most common species types includes insects, reptiles, amphibians, nocturnal mammals, fungi and more.  One of the main features of the Oasis Night walk is the "Cantarrana" or "frog song" where you learn about the amphibian history and some of the most popular nocturnal species such as the glass frog, the red eye tree frog, bull frog and the facemask fringe among others.

What to Bring: Hiking shoes, long pants, mosquito repellent (some people do not find this necessary), light rain jacket, camera.
