The Springs Resort and Spa overlooks the Arenal river valley and offers direct views of north side of the majestic Arenal Volcano. The Springs is surrounded by lush tropical gardens, cascading waterfalls and panoramic views verdant mountains and valleys. The entrance of The Springs is located about 9 km from La Fortuna downtown and from that turn off it is an additional 3 km through tropical rain forest ascending to the hotel reception.
The construction and design of the Springs Hotel one of the most attractive features of the hotel with the entire main building set aside for guest services including, 4 restaurants, full service spa, fitness center, sitting areas and hot and cold springs. The wood used in the construction of the hotel and rooms originates from Costa Rican tree farms and was dried and hand crafted on site at the hotel.
The rooms and villas are located below the main building and is connected by wheel chair accessible walking paths. The Springs Resort and Spa offers an array of on site facilities however the variety of Hot Springs is unique to the Springs Resort and Spa. With 3 separate hot spring areas Las Lagunas pools, Los Perdidos Springs (The Lost Springs), and the soon to be completed Hot and Cold Springs along the Arenal River. The Springs Resort has much to offer guests.
The Springs Resort and Spa is a truly luxurious experience and all of the rooms include a private balcony with volcano view, hammocks, rocking chairs, central cooling, jacuzzi and marbled bathroom, mini bar, wireless Internet, refrigerator and coffee maker. All of the rooms can accommodate an optional roll away bed for a child for an extra fee. Breakfast is not included in the room rate and some areas of the hotel are still under construction.
Room Types:
Vista Room: includes 1 King bed and volcano view.
Alta Vista Room: includes 1 king bed, 18ft vaulted ceiling and views of the volcano and valley
Family Suite: A split level suite with 2 king beds or 1 king bed and 2 single beds. Equipped with a bathroom on each level.
Two Bedroom Junior Spring Suite: 2 bedrooms with one King bed in the master bedroom and 2 single beds in the second bedroom. This type of room is located in a third floor.

Villa Guayaba: 2 bedrooms with King beds, 2 bathrooms. Jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom, full kitchen, heated pool, sun deck, hammocks, outdoor dining area.
Villa Calatea: 2 bedrooms with King beds, 2 bathrooms with Jacuzzi in both bathrooms. Out door shower, 2 private terraces, heated pool, living room, full kitchen, volcano view
Palm Bungalow: A master suite with indoor/outdoor shower, outdoor jacuzzi, sun deck, hammocks.
