Recycling Program
The Los Lagos recycling program includes paper, glass, aluminum, plastic, and organic waste. Collection bins are located throughout the hotel’s property and in the kitchen and guest rooms. The classified recyclable materials are donated to a group of women in the community. Los Lagos also helps to pay the salary of the driver who picks up the materials.
Waste / Toxicity Reduction
Wastewater is treated with bacteria that decompose toxic and organic waste
Only durable and reusable drinking cups are provided
Shampoos, conditioners, and lotions are placed in re-usable containers and refilled
100% biodegradable soap (laundry detergent, dish soap, and hand/body soap)
Non-toxic and non-corrosive biodegradable disinfectants
Chlorine-free swimming pool
Community Programs / Charity
