Encourages the reuse of linens and towels
Low-flow toilets in all bathrooms (max of 1.6 gallons/flush)
Low-flow sinks and showerheads (max flow 2.75 gpm)
Monitors water consumption and inspects the piping system regularly for leaks

Recycling Program
The recycling program at Arenal Springs Resort includes paper, aluminum, glass, plastic, and organic waste. Collection bins are located throughout the hotel’s property. The recyclable materials are given to a group of women in the community.

Only durable and reusable drinking cups are provided
Shampoos, conditioners, and lotions are placed in re-usable containers and refilled
100% biodegradable soap (laundry detergent, dish soap, and hand/body soap)

Community Programs / Charity
Arenal Springs Resort makes monthly donations to Apreflofas and the La Fortuna Sport Association. Every 3 months, the hotel also makes contributions to the Danaus Ecocenter in La Fortuna and the Fundación Ángeles del Señor, an organization that helps low income families in the community.
