There are several great ways to explore the Arenal Volcano, including on Horseback, Hiking with a guide through the Arenal Volcano National Park or mountain Biking. The hotel features colonial style rooms with all the amenities that one can expect from a mountain retreat. Each room can accommodate up to five people and feature king or queen size beds, air conditioning, cable TV, ceiling fan, refrigerator, telephone, security box, private bathroom with hot water, hair dryer, Coffee maker and lush tropical gardens. In addition, the rooms come with their own terrace and rocking chairs for ultimate leisure and bird viewing.

On Christmas night and New Year's Eve the hotel is offering a mandatory "Special Dinner". The cost for the Christmas dinner is $40 USD + 23% tax ($49.2USD per person ) and the cost for the New Year's Eve dinner is $45 USD + 23% tax ($55.35 USD per person) aditional to the regular rate. Children under 12 years old pay only the 50% of the adult rate. Free for children under 6 years old.
